Below are some common questions.

We conduct a comprehensive skincare consultation to assess your skin condition, and discuss your concerns and goals to determine the best options for you. Following, we will consult at every treatment you have to ensure we’re getting the result you need.

All treatments require you to be off all acne medications for at least 6 months. It is also necessary to avoid the use of peels, direct acids, retinol/retnoids on the treatment area 5 days beforehand. Please follow the specific pre- instructions found below.

Follow the specific post-care instructions for your treatment, and wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays.

Downtime varies between our treatments and how well each client responds to their procedure. Our team will provide you with detailed information about the resting period for your specific treatment during your consultation.

All treatments carry some degree of side effects. During a clients consultation, we will discuss the recommended treatments potential risks, complications, and side effects. We also provide detailed aftercare instructions to help clients manage any discomfort and ensure a smooth recovery.

BOOKING POLICY

When booking online, we require a 10% deposit to secure your appointment at Skinholic Aesthetics & Laser. All payment information is processed and stored securely. When booking in person, we do not require a deposit.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

You are responsible for keeping your appointment, or for cancelling a minimum of 24- hrs prior to your allotted appointment time. Text notifications from an unmonitored number are sent 2 days before your scheduled appointment.

Please call us at least 24- hrs prior to your appointment to let us know if you need to reschedule or cancel. Any cancellations with less than a 24- hr notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to $100.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals; However, the length of the treatment may have to be adjusted to accommodate the next scheduled reservation. If the scheduled treatment cannot be adjusted based on how late you have arrived, you will be subject to the Cancellation/No Show Policy amounting to $100.

RESERVATION POLICY

In order to reserve your desired appointment, we suggest scheduling your treatments in advance. We recommend booking your next appointment right after your fulfilled appointment.

SHIPPING

We currently only have our local in store pickup option available. We hope in the future to be able to accommodate our clients that aren’t able to come into the clinic.

REFUND

We do not offer refunds on products that have been opened or used. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and returned to Skinholic Aesthetics & Laser within 30 days of purchase. The product must be in the same condition you received, including the original packaging.

To initiate a return, please email jasmine@skinholicaesthetics.ca with your purchase date and details about why you are returning the product. If your purchase qualifies for a return, you will be asked to bring the item back to Skinholic Aesthetics & Laser. Once the item is brought in and inspected by our team, we will confirm if it can be accepted for a refund. If accepted, a refund will be issued to you via your original payment method.
